I dont know what other forums are u talking about, but i use facebook for other purpose than following games, so my only source of news atm is otland.

Know what you mean though.
Server started off with false advertising, followed by huge number of spoofing then some kind of staff scandal.
I have lost all the trust and claims done by knighter already, but it doesn't mean that server is bad.

We can clearly see that lot of improvements have been done to the server and will come as long as people donate.

When the server was released it was pretty good, and as the server went on it got pretty bad tbh....... And then he finally turned things around for the positive. Me and @Sir Knighter used to be pretty kool then some things happened which I can't even remember exactly what it was, but I'm personally going to be giving his server another chance

Yes, Alot of people just use channel chats for finding groups however

I would like to hear what your thoughts on balancing are now?

When i quitted the top tier was Berserker and Archer ( which was about 6-7 months ago).
- They had alot more things that they could improve upon compared to every other class.

Did the promotion go through any rework or still heavily favour weapon wielders? % more damage and stuff.


Lastly, i hope everyone who is interested in a custom server or just a fun NON-RL server gives this server a try!

@Sir Knighter While I love the progress archlight has made, I still feel like the website needs more work. The layout looks good in all, but the general functionality of the website is what pulls the general impression (for me at least) down.

However, I still feel that those kind of things are considered niceties, which I believe within time will be solved.

I will say, berserker and archer did benefit most from good equipment, good stats and completed achievements, you could say they we're almost like an ADC in league compared to a MID laner (if you've played league of legends). The ADC is weaker at the start, but late on he reaps those rewards.
However, a big mission for us was to help balance this out to where mage has more endgame benefits (we did this by increasing the ML boost on their endgame gear, additionally adding in RuneMastery that allows them to increase the damage they deal with runes.
Also we nerfed the endgame archer/berserker lifesteal and instead increased their lower level healing to help balance it out.
Archlight is a constantly worked on server, and we do balance patches weekly if not twice a week. We will continue to address any imbalances best we can <3 :)
