It's gonna be one of best OT for long time. 7.4 mechanics with so many extra features that fit spirit of 7.4 well. I wish everything best for this project :).

Today we wanted to feature more Map-Playability, in Hellgate no less.

Ever feel like Hellgate just wasn't that hunt-able, looked cool but a bit stale? Ever feel like Tibia in general should be more dynamic, changeable, and exciting? This is our answer. And there are unique Dynamics and Mechanics like this all throughout Dura.

We also showed some more of our Monster System at the beginning of the Video.

Giving it a try but my level experience 8 to 9 on bugs alone is rough. Total of 5 gold coins in loot:)

Here's what happens when you run across an ambush on Dura.


There are over 1500+ ambushes on Dura. And the circumstances of being trapped in by walls is one of MANY ways we offer players a more dynamic and exciting game-experience. These kind of changes and mechanics we hope offer something more fun and fresh than what we players are otherwise used to.
We finished the video off with a couple friends fighting and becoming stronger together through Dura's Test Server showing some of what kind of unique challenges and surprises await you in hunting and exploring.

Im having a great time. Even though you die some times cause of monsters new difficulty, added monsters in a few spawns and that you cant rope up again if anything, even yourself is in the hole, makes all more scary but time makes you stronger and it feels good when you finally beat whats holding you back.
You can advance quickly in exp and skills if you wish. Its not super fast but its fast enough to make the server last. Need more players, even though its BETA. I saw that they announced in game that if you beat some milestones, like lvl 40, 60 and so on you get bonuses in the official release. Like premium, choose any house for no initial cost and even furniture items that wont be available in-game.

Hello Everyone,

Today we wanted to give you a taste of what to expect from Dura when it comes to innovation for PvP and PvE to make the game more fresh and exciting. Ideas and Mechanics like you see here are found all around Dura, some obvious, some secret.


We want to bring back strategy and tactics to the game again, maneuverability that allows you to constantly manipulate your environment, leveraging skill, to your own ends. This is our answer.

Gameplay we captured this week:


A GM came across two friends exploring and followed along. They ended up at Swamp Trolls and explored the whole cave... it seems Shadowthorn has been in league with the Trolls for some time.

2 Knights, both low-levels come close to death, find a few surprises and all and all have a fun time.

The server is great, just need more european people. Mid-day eu time we are Always like 10 ish people because the americans Wake up.

A couple days ago Slash, a Tester of ours, came across what he hoped was a bug.... it turned out to be a normal part of Dura. He asked the GM for help but in the end Slash proved he had all the help he needed by himself. ;)

This video shows one of our many Raids. On Dura there are over 170+ Custom Non-Boss Raids; 60+ Boss Raids; and the original 60+ 7.4 Raids.

The Raid you are about to see is a 'medium' size Raid, if on Dura there is small, medium, and large. And the degree of difficulty and complexity is a 2 out of 5 if '5' is the hardest.

And Raids in Dura were always built to be tackled as a team or even server-wide. They have their reward too, as Raid Monsters give bonus exp/loot. Raids happen commonly on Dura.



In Dura our goal is to offer you the most exciting and challenging game-experience possible, for both PvE and PvP.

An invisible GM followed a Paladin exploring the Mountain Clifftops of Mt Sternum. Discoveries are made and monsters vanquished.


This video adds to the picture of making a more challenging Tibia. Reshaped spawns and re-designed monsters.

Wanted to drop some Screenshots our Testers have gathered, it seems they're finally getting their hands on some Ancient Runes and learning the secrets they hold.

Dura has both the Standard Rune System, which has the normal runes we all know that act just as you'd expect but we've also introduced an Ancient Rune System as well. These Ancient Runes have untold power and strength.

Patch Note: On Weapons not being Purchaseable from NPCs. (Game Design)

After talking to many testers and heavy reflection we have decided during the entirety of Dura, at Launch and after, Weapons above 17 attack, including Bows and Crossbows though excluding Spears, will not be purchaseable in shop. We understand this is an integral part of the game and consequentially will be frustrating for many players but it is for that exact reason we are removing them. As it stands now, no matter what the vocation the optimal strategy/route for every character in 7.4, if he cannot receive a weapon from another player for free, is always to make enough gold to buy a weapon from the NPC shop. We believe this to be far too easy and therefore makes it so there is no decision-making/strategy involved in the process of your characters journey, there is no choice as to should you hunt this spawn for this weapon or that spawn for that weapon, should you look instead to level and buy a weapon later, should you hunt to loot to sell to others -- instead there is ONLY: grind gold and buy NPC weapon(s).

This goes against what Dura is about. Making the game challenging and exciting again requiring constant strategic thinking. Secondly by purchasing weapons in shop which at one makes the game too easy and two nullifies all decision-variation, these both combine to ensure boredom and non-fun game-play. And our Vision for Dura has always been at end to make the game Fun again by making it challenging and multi-layered.


In counterbalance to this decision we have implemented various new quests which allow you acquire these weapons. You already have things like Battle Hammer and Battle Axe etc. But we've added more, so no matter what vocation you are you will have ways to advance your character at a reasonable rate. We also slightly modified loot tables so there would be a more even distribution of lootable weapons for the four vocations as otherwise certain vocations would have had a disproportionate edge compared to Authentic 7.4.

Of course nothing is final until the day of Release, we welcome all feedback to try to make the best game possible.
