Alright, yeah. I think I agree.Sure I don't care.
I'm a 30 year old white nerd.
I think Trump is an idiot, I think Hillary is a Criminal, and I think Socialism is evil therefor Bernie is an idiot.
The three of us clashed so hard because some people have a personality that when you have a disagreement they take it as a personal attack.
For example:
Papa Roach is my favorite band.
If someone else said "I think Papa Roach sucks". I wouldn't care. YOU don't have to like my favorite band.
But, for a lot of people, if you say their favorite band sucks, they take it as a personal attack, and they start being a raging idiot.
Those are the types of people you cannot have a rational discussion with. Or at least it is very hard to.
I've forgotten what plans/ideas I had of where to go with this yesterday, so I'll just have to freestyle it.
Well, let me first say I like post 95 and 99 (I very much agree and relate to the last one).
And I'm also thinking like if we (me and you guys specifically) want to continue this conversation we have to change our approach and angle or something, because that super-combativeness was going nowhere imo (and I feel responsible for some of it; perhaps the beginning (my first post) most of all, idk).
So I thought of a new angle being why we believe what we believe or something, and perhaps what we believe also, but in the context of why we believe it.
Specifically I wanted to know what exactly you guys believe and what the rational is behind it, like what are your political beliefs/worldviews as a whole?
Where does the leftists come from, where does the right-wingers come from (ideologically of course, not geographically)?
What would you guys like to see in the world, and why? What do you think about the current political situation (in the US, worldwide, and which direction is it going in)? Etc.
