Introduction


Let us introduce you to our server, we've been working on it for two years. Much has changed by this time, we started as retro 7.6 ots and the project developed gradually, until we reached 12.66. In the last update we decided to create our world from scratch once again, because we have gained a lot of experience and advice from our players.

This is how new Ennis was born. Our main goal is to make a server with its own map, story and unique features, but with classic tibia mechanics and game style at the same time.

Current map is the result of 2 years of experience. We tried to make everyone find something for themselves here. Regardless if you are a grind lover, explorer or mystery solver. The latest version of Tibia has allowed us to create a world full of interesting monsters and places.

Features

Ennis has many unique mechanics, which positively influence the player's experience of the game.The most interesting of them are presented below.


Waypoints
Similar to Hack’n’slash games - waypoints. They occur in different places, some we have to discover, other are special(for example quest tp)



Achievements
We made our own achievements, everyone can check his progress ingame, or check ranking.



In-game map
We added an ingame map with the current position indicator, so maybe no one will fall into hole full of trolls without a rope in an unknown land. We're hoping it will make your life a little easier at the beginning.



Hunting guild
Part of the bigger story, Hunting Guild is an organisation that combines different quests, this is where we can get tasks, or explore the world under the eye of Captain Black Jack. As a reward for your effort you can get experience, gold, or Ennis coins.



Bosses
There are several dozen bosses in our world. They can be found even on low-exp areas, some we can beat alone, but most often we will need help from other players.



RPG style trainers
We have created special training areas, in exchange for soul points you can practice your skills. Every doomy gains additives, for example double shielding etc.

These features with GUI and website look really nice. Not sure about waypoints for gold but other than that it seems to be good

It's a misunderstanding, sorry for that. I know Azakelis and it was just our inner joke.
Ennis is currently in the development stage and player’s feedback is the most important to us, because we want to create a server that will be enjoyable for everyone.
 
Why has everyone started to use same waypoint module.
It's an third server where I see waypoint system that's LOOKS the same as on other two servers...

waypoints its cool but does it really fitting in a oldschool OTS ?
running long way to get better spawns and such its a part of balance !
 

Currently we are working hard on adding new content and fixing bugs reported by players.

We've made a lot of progress with Ennis.

First of all - we made our bestiary system based on RL tibia, but we don't like the idea of charms, so we will replace them for something more fancy.

Ennis is still developing well. Thanks to our testers, we fixed some major bugs and added a lot of new content.

The most important change is the waypoint activation method. From now, to activate the waypoint you must sacrifice some items based on location.

There are some significant changes in the WSAD system. QEZC for diagonal walking was added. You can also toggle chat by pressing Enter. Everything is configurable in the options.

Last week, we focused mainly on client UX.
Here are some changes:


Items marks

Items have colors based on price (from npc shops and market).
It will help players determine the price of items.
There is additional mark for items if they are in the autloot list (bag icon).

Backpack saving

This was the most repeating request from our testers.
It was annoying to reopen all the backpacks after each login.
So from now all backpacks that was open before you logout will be open and they will be in exactly same position.

Autoloot changes

We improved the auto loot process.
Character will collect loot from all corpses on the tile.
We have separated the "Open" action from "Loot" action and it can be assigned to 3 hotkeys.
There is also a new button in the loot inspector. After click - character will approach the corpse and collect loot for you.

Dynamic experience rate

We have completely removed the exp stages in favour of dynamic experience rate.
It's similar to the Low level xp boost from rl tibia, but it start with 500% on level 1 and ends on level 200.


... and it's not over. We have in plans more client changes.
