Jesus Christ this is one of the whiniest communities, fucking league of legends that has a 100k players 2 week testing server cyclus gets their game crushed every 2-3 patches by some random bug until the community discovers it, this was obvious that it was a person causing since they repeated every 6-7 minutes probably how long it took that idiot to walk back to the spot where he can crush the server. And it's impossible for fribben or whoever is hosting to uncover these bugs until he lunches the server. There are probably 10 more places on the map/things u can do to cause similar crashes, not only on this sever but on dozens of others as well. Find out what it is, continue it tomorrow and we are gucci.

What happen?
The server was not under DDoS-attacks. It was an attack ordered by the administration of Eloth/Tibijka/Xavato/Kasteria/Evolera/ThoraOT/Huntia. Prior to the server, I received information that the server will go down before launch and it was not something they hid either, I didn't take it seriously and what happen was the result of it. You can even see Wille confirming it on OTLand prior to the server start (image below). Note that they never dared to go head to head with OriginalTibia before, 3 times they refused to start due to knowing they can't outstand competition.

Why don't you just solve the problem?
Can I find the problem and solve it? Yes probably, but is it worth it? No, because if they hire people like Elf who is one of the core programmers of TFS, who it is fair to suspect in this attack due his affiliation with this dirty team, God knows how many other things he have hidden under his sleeves. And I am not interested in investing time to fight dirty battles over a hobby project.

What happens now?
Sad to say, but this is the finish line for OriginalTibia. Throughout the years I have learned alot from this community, both good and bad. But it is time to step down and actually retire, this time probably for good.

One thing I hope I am remembered for in this community, despite if you like me or not, is that I keep my word and I am not a thief nor a person who would scam others. If you wish to keep your donation as a gift for us to regain some of the expenses we paid for advertisement, dedicated etc, we highly appreciate that. If you on the other hand want to reclaim your money, please file a charge back report on PayPal and I will accept it.

During hardship is when you learn who is truly supportive and who is not. I am glad I met many of you and the way some of you stood up for me and the server today, is something that warms my heart. We can never anticipate the future, but I believe I pushed my best to deliver what I believed in and what many of you have enjoyed throughout the years that I have been active as an OpenTibia host. I thank you all once again and I wish you the best in what ever you proceed to do next.

Worst host ever.. almost 2 hours after start and ive been rollbacked 7 times.. My items even got rolled back after i had relog to save them.. which doesnt make any sense at all.. Also i was leaving spawn to go to depot and got tped back to spawn 4 times and eventually died.. GM doesnt seem to care since help channel is disabled

To be honest i only came back to Tibia and play this server since it is oldschool and not a retard "TP CASINO IS HERE" server. I understand your feelings, you did put so much effort in your work but there always be evil people to ruin it.

Besides that you let the evil people win. Now they got what they wanted. I don't know what the bug caused, if it wasn't a DDOS it was a security breach on your dedicated server?

Fribben, if I were you I would not give up like that. You did spend time at preparing server, spend money on advertisment, dedicated server etc.. those are main reasons that you should try to fix it somehow, but on the other hand I kinda understand you.
