i have buy a domain from godaddy how do i make it so its go to my server ?

go to your domain then click "Total DNS Control and MX Records".
Add a new A record with @ as host and your IP as IP (might say "point to"). Lower the TTL to 1 hour aswell if it's not already set to 1 hour. You should also add a CNAME alias with host set to "www" and IP (or point to) set to @.
