Historia - Tibia 6.4/7.72/8.6 Announcement

Update on whats going on.
When I bought the server to rent they said they will take care of intrusion attacks fast as possible.
Well I tested this theory and to my amazement they did not.
I canceled my subscription to the hosting company and demanded my money back due to false advertisement.

I'm getting in contact with another company today.
I want Historias first 24 hours on start be great. This what makes or breaks "Old School" servers.
I like to be prepared and always have fall back plans.
Sorry for the delays, but I can assure you once Historia is online it will be perfect!
 
You should first try it out and see what happens... It's a beta phase.

If it appears to be a great server and bad people try to DDoS, it's still beta, for a real opening, you should have a good server to hold attacks.
You should run a test server phase for some days and then check the community's interest to see if it is worth paying a host company for it.
 
Glad to hear you're thorough and want a well prepared server after putting so much time and work in. Hopefully you find some DoS protection for a reasonable price. I'll definitely check it out once it is open.

Historia is out of beta phase, Been in testing ever since the first of this year.
I already have the 80 max player slots filled once server goes live.
Not worried about the players coming right now.
The last thing I want is to put up Historia then if it gets attacked.
Players start to question the owner if he is doing his job right.
If you cant succeed with the first 24 hours of live servers.
Why even put up something so unique that has been in development since 2007!?

Found a reasonable priced service in Texas, things are looking good.

You know I've been waiting since 2010 and I ended up loosing contact with you so I never could play the beta and such.
 
Can't wait for the start !! I was talking with Dead Zone on early beta test i remember his old projects from 2006-7 :D. Not to mention i have studied Tibian history milion times, watched milion screens and old movies. I have looong vacations and I'm sooo bored :<. This ots gonna be what i need to make time go faster ;).

Original players like yourself on the old Historia server and the ones on my contact list will get a invite. You're one of them.

That time will come soon, preparing job descriptions for positions.
Other players will get special invites soon to follow.
Updated the first page with the official rates for each server!

Looks like the last test I was in, lol. I tho this was going to be a gameplay test server, not a let me summon and give you a super high level character to show you the features.

Those are the test photos of the last previous testing phases of Historia.
Just look at that bug on the roof on the first picture lol. So many item errors during the testing phase xD

I REALLY hope this project to be a blast!


BTW, just a small feedback about the rates:

They look pretty good, just dont forget to balance hp/mp regen with the magic level.

HP/MP regen has been adjusted due to unbalanced classes in older tibia servers.
Also Mana on spells have been lowered.

Cool, still, it wont be fair to have a pally or sorc/druid casting spells all the time due to their low mana cost and fast mana regen.
Well, I cant say much since I havent seen yet, just a thought.

I've been waiting since last year. I'm from the tibia 7.1 era of ACTUAL tibia, so I seen this and its a few updates before my times, so I really really wanna try it. Let me know! <3
