So, I seriously haven't done one of these threads in over three years, but I decided that with my return to Open Tibia, I'd take a shot at showing off some of the work that I've been doing. For the pictures in this post, they're of the sewer system within Cypher Online, and thus, pretty straight forward.

I wanted to go with a sewer system that was more "modern", in the aspect that it looked purposefully built and similar to today's sewer systems in a lot of American cities. With this, I chose to do metal walling throughout, and the sewer water lanes. I didn't want the mapping to be TOO "squarey", but as this is the sort of sewer system I set out to build, it is quite uniformed. Please share your constructive criticism/advice.

Glad to see that you're back into mapping, the picture you posted isn't the best I've seen from you but at least you're back. :d look forward to more

Thanks Pero, and yeah, I have to admit, I've gotten super, super, super rusty in all aspects in my departure, but I've always been a fast learner, and a fast re-learner, so I appreciate your support. I'll be posting more in the near future :)
 
Here another! I am aware that the green and dry grass area on the right is not yet complete, I was just really super happy with my waterfall are that I had to show it :)

@Jaed Le Raep It's pretty unlogical, you have shallow water feeding and ocean xD

I designed it based off the creatures and enemies that are meant to inhabit it, Kobolds. The shallow water isn't feeding the ocean, but the ocean feeds the upper levels via a tunneling/water-flow design, and then flows back into the ocean, as a cycle.

The waterfall sprite doesn't really fit with that (light) water imo and maybe an idea to add a mountain (with a waterfall) next to it so the water has a source where it comes from.

Like to see more.

In-game, they actually do fit, to be honest. It's the reason why I took off the top blue parts, because that made it not fit. But when you look at it in-game, it's a totally different perspective. And eh, I'll consider adding another mountain next to it so I literally point out the logic in it, rather than having the underground system which people might not even come across.

This is a secret area that is pretty hard to discover. In this area, many poisonous creatures will be found, and a few treasures can be uncovered.

That moldy floor has become one of my favorite tilesets.

Edit: also not too many tuffs, to me, no such thing as long as the same tuff doesnt make a square shape or on the same vertical or horizontal line (rule only for in game screen obv) like in the photo with the spider eggs.

My only critisism :p
