however when i try to log in i get error 200002 anyone able to help.

Maybe he don't want to use 8.40?

but if he try latest sources and check if they are working he will get know that it's problem of his sources of 0.2.14 right ?

that's connection timeout..
Open your ports.. check the ip in ur config.lua and allow tfs on your firewall (if you got one)

Update it to 0.2pl20, its still 8.31 (I'm pretty sure).
Even though, 0.2pl19 supplied every need I had...
