Hello there ! And thank you for posting in our thread!
The server is pretty balanced, donators don't have all the features nor any advantage in terms of hunting/pvp.
I personally recommend you to give it another try !
And please, really try out the server before giving any feedback.

Client was updated to version 1.3.2.0, small update.. It just contains some new features to the launcher and also a lot of improvements in memory usage and loading time.
