Remere's Map Editor - removing creatures from map

Hello!

Quick question. How do I erase creatures from the map??
I know how to erase items and ground tiles (using ctrl+alt+shift) but the spawns and creatures are still there afterwards..

Is there something I have to change in preferences or maybe select some other tool than eraser??

Delete the spawn.xml file.

That's one way to do it I guess. But how do I know which monster spawns to delete? The spawn.xml file has like 50,000 lines. Are the monsters sorted in some way, perhaps by the cities they are in?


It's kinda weird that you can't erase them directly in map editor... :blink:

You can but you need to do it monster by monster so it would take a very long time. I can't think of another way to do it, sorry. :/

I click on the monster and press the Delete key on the keyboard, just like I delete anything else.

I just erase the spawn by pressing delete.
The monsters are still in the mapeditor but they wont be in-game.
