The Launch of Promise happens in approximately 3 days from now. Some updates on what's going on.

1# Donations and purchases through the in-game store will be possible but the store will be limited to harvesting, accessory items and premium. We will continue to add store content and complete the store within a week after the launch. Naturally the store will not contain any pay to win items.

2# Transfering and Withdrawing Tibia Token to and from your wallet aswell as selling them in the in-game market has been delayed. The developer has resigned his task and we will hire someone else to do it. Therefor it will be implemented shortly after launch.

Sure and I agree with you. It is an early launch but it shouldnt be any issues. We are missing features such as
  • Deposit & Withdrawal of Tibia token through "my account" on the website.
  • Complete integration for tibia coin in our in-game market.
  • Missing accessory items in Store
On the other hand we also added
  • Trade window for npcs

And are now also currently developing
  • Crafting/Mining
  • Remake of Oens Equipment Upgrade System

What is important to note is that none of the features missing will affect the game at all. It is an addition only and it will be there one week after launch.

You have worked so hard on this server and i would never like to see it fail. Ive seen good OTs being released but lack of adveritising and no players on start make a dead server. If 100 players are not logged in after countdown then nobody will register and join later on.

After having discussed with all the developers and checking where we are it does not seem like we will be ready for an official launch as preliminary planned. We are changing the actual launch to a BETA which will occur later this month and it will be posted here in #Server Gala as a new thread as I will be asking for this one to be closed.

What has been decided however is that the official launch will occur early next month, with strong advertising after having battle tested the server and client.
 
Launch date was re-scheduled to next week friday. Some developers did not meet their deadlines and therefor we cant launch.

Next weeks launch will be a beta with higher rates. The later official launch will be 1x

Any and all bugs found are rewarded with Tibia Tokens. On the official launch you will have them in your balance and you can instantly sell them in the in-game market, withdraw them to your crypto wallet or cash them in for tibia coins at tibia.com

Changed the rates to 100x during BETA for improved testing. We will also add a BETA NPC that can give you anything from equipment, runes, ammunition, weapons and supplies so you can test everything, including actionbars.

Testing is in full sprint and one of our testers has already earned 100 tibia coins for finding a bug we did not know about. Earned tibia coins are paid out to your account at the official launch 1st of April. They can be withdrawed to your official tibia account, to your crypto wallet or sold in our in-game market when the server launches.
 
Earlier today we fixed
  • Window focus issue
  • Added improved minimap UI

Throughout the day we have made the additional fixes
  • minimap now saves
  • client updater works
  • Additional improvements to the NPC Trade

You need to delete the current client from your PC and re-install it from website for the auto-updates to work

From tomorrow we will focus on

  • Improving Bestiary UI
  • Bestiary Tracker
  • Unjustified Kills UI
  • Set cap buy max scrollbar to 100%
  • Saving minimap location
  • Fixing NPC Trade window re-sizing

Last but not least, we will add
  • Rarity System using Item Upgrades and random drop from regular monsters. In short, its items with attributes.
  • Add mining mechanics
  • Add crafting mechanics

I will also set aside some time to add runes to the ingame store during the Beta so you can buy runes for free on the go without visiting an NPC. Additionally I will also add all items to the loot analyzer to avoid further confusion during testing.
 
Spell runes have been added for free to the in-game store and can now be acquired for free without visiting NPCs. They can be found in the "Beta (Free)" tab.

Premium is free on login.

In the Beta menu you can also find blessings to test the blessings icon, stone skin amulets to test with actionbar equip/de-equip aswell as amulet of loss.

You can basically fuck around on the server as much as you want and its all free and accessible. So you can try out the actionbars with stone skin amulets, sds, uhs, mana fluids and life fluids.

We changed BETA store to give BPs of runes and stone skins instead of singles. Less fiddling and more fun this way.

We are doing a massive update on the UI. We worked on completing the final details of Bestiary and also made som additional changes on the tracker.We made it simpler for players to track and stop tracking monsters now by simply pressing Stop/Start tracking on the creature. Naturally you can also remove the creature from the bestiary tracker itself. This update will most likely be completed by the end of tomorrow. Once this is complete, we will focus on fixing the remaining small issues that have been reported to us and then continue working on UI improvements for the official launch.

I don't see clearly the launch date and we're pretty close to it. I had to read the entire thread to notice.

My opinion, is that you should create another thread for the official launch. As this thread is the BETA and points to 14th march.

I will probably join as there is some dev power in your team and this ot might be interesting to play, but I feel you should focus on recruiting new players via advertising correctly.

Agreed. Updated the main topic. I also think its time for a new thread but to create an official launch thread anew it has to be 7 days away from launch. Beta is launched so I can post here for a while atleast while beta is still running.

We rolled out our 2 day update just now
  • Bestiary and tracker are officially complete
  • NPC Trade window resizing has been fixed
  • Issue where draging panel windows to game window crashing the client has now been fixed
  • Creature sizes have been customized for the tracker
Right clicking a creature and adding it to the tracker will now automagically open your tracker, another QoL for the players

We managed to locate the issue for laptop users where chat windows acted strangely. It will be fixed shortly. The goal now is to complete the client before 27th so we can focus on proxy implementation for better latency overall.
 
These coming two days we will roll out some major fixes to the client and the UI. We are hopeful the anti-cheat will be implemented tomorrow, if this is the case then the next aim will be to implement proxies to improve latency for Europe and Brazil.
