The servers go down today until the Winter Update + New Era Launch in 7 days (November 25th) and we thought we'd take a moment to share with you guys some of the new stuff we have added!

We have so much new stuff coming this Era, so many changes to Improve gameplay and Improve activity on Archlight.

We have added another layer to our Dungeon System. Now, every dungeon will have 3 modes for players/groups to choose from. Easy, Normal, and Hard. This is explained in the following screenshots.

Next, our Winter Snowball event will also be released on the new Era's Launch! Be ready to throw some snowballs at your friends and dodge their's in the hops to win your share of some event tokens!

You wanted it, we changed it!
Everyone has been requesting a change to achievements to make them less of a must-bot feature, but still keeping them in the game! We have changed achievements to make them 10% as many creature kills, and still give 20% of the bonus as before! Yes, the bonus is lower due to the smaller amount of creatures needed to be slain.

Adding in a 1kk Currency. Something that has been requested dozens of times was to add a 1kk currency that can stack to 100kk. Well, we got you fam.

Winter Update Teaser #3
Something that has become increasingly important to the development team of Archlight Online is to increase the fun factor of PvP. We want it to feel Dynamic, Interesting, Unique and Circumstantial. Along with other past changes, and future changes, dynamic fights is key. We have added a new Elixir System to Archlight. Elixirs will add another level of dynamic to PvP fights in terms of resources and cooldown allocation on the large elixirs. Elixirs can be crafted through alchemy using materials from farming. The seeds needed for the farming can be earned from dungeon boxes. You have a chance to get double the amount of seeds from hardcore dungeons. These elixirs come in 5 different Tiers. Health Elixirs having Tiers 1,2,3,4 and 5. Mana Elixirs having Tiers 1,3,4 and 5. Spirit Elixirs having Tiers 4 and 5.

Unlike the starting rune, the 500 quest rune, and the seven trials rune, these elixirs are consumed on use and not infinite.

We feel this new system and additional form of healing will add a more value/reward aspect to Archlight. Additionally also another aspect of survivability and timing when judging other creatures/players spell use and when to pop an ultimate Elixir. Will you use these potions to attempt to hunt slightly harder creatures at the cost of using them? Will you carry just some incase of another player fighting you to stand your ground? Will you make sure the team you are leading on the first Seven Trials quest is fully stocked with elixirs? When will you pop the 30 second cooldown elixir?​

How's the connection for people who are from OCE area. You guys don't have a proxy server for them right?
Proxies for ots are a pretty big placebo. Atleast from the large servers I have spoken to. We set up a proxy setup and everyone talked about how their lag was significantly improved despite the ping being the same. Not to mention ovh doesn't have the option of setting up a proxy for OCE.

The US Proxy actually made me lag more than just playing on the normal connection lol

Well RIP, I probs wont play then. Lag is horrible there for OCE players
