I'm starting this thread today because I could need a few volunteers who can master the mapeditor tool. The definition of this kind of volunteering is that you contribute with your mapping for fun in order to finish a large RPG-map that already has a lot of content but needs to be bigger.
The current map is not far from a potential game-server release but it's far from where I want the map to be. Therefore I need YOU!
How do we work together?
When working together with me we will use the platform and "cloud-service" Dropbox, where we setup a mutual folder where you will have your own folder. In this folder you will receive your tasks for the map. Also I demand you to always keep your progressing map in this dropbox folder to make sure that I can access it whenever I need it.
Of course I will be available for the team on Skype where we will setup a mutual group conversation with the entire team to make the communication more fluent.
How does the recruitment work?
I'm not interested in mappers who will contribute us with maps that needs to be redone as soon as we get the map. I need stable and professional mappers, wouldn't hurt if you have a good reputation as well. However, I'm looking at your applications which you are posting HERE.
I'm giving you all one of two statuses which will indicate your possibility of getting into this project. The statuses will be these: Rejected (this status is pretty obvious, if you have received this status you are not going to be a part of this project, but keep practicing and perhaps we can recruit you another time), Pending (this is the second status, it's a little more interesting I guess. When your application will receive the status PENDING you're being further considered. I will contact you whether you will be approved or not in the next 24 hours, since the post with your status was made.).
Once the team has been fully picked, this thread will be closed and I will give you all a short message about who will join the project. But you might still wonder who stands a chance of getting into this project? I'm the only one who will judge your mapping, therefore your only task is to impress me. Also there will be no application form that you should follow, so use your imagination to build your application on your own.
Don't think too far, simplicity is so beautiful.

Even if this project would turn out to be a total fail, the single-project that I've been running so far will not go down the trashcan. I will keep up the development but it will indeed take some more time than it would with an entire team.
