World Mapping Cup
There'll be several leagues, each league will have their own system and ranking/matchup table.
Therefore, we'd have to limit the spots available to keep harmony and for the cup to be as easy (manage-wise) as possible.
General Information
This cup has it's goal set to as many participants as possible,
of all skill levels and creativity levels, so don't be frightened
if someone you lookup to decides to participate!
This is an oportunit for you and your friends to test your
abilities against eachother, and to test your ability to co-operate in the 2on2 challenge,
or why not join forces and participate as a 4man team?
This cup holds many events which will help you to evolve as an mapper,
and at the same time test your abilities to the ultimate.
There will be restrictions though, if you decide to participate, please make sure
that you have the time required. We'd just hate to make default losses
just because someone was careless or couldn't be arsed to finish what he/she started.
System
This cup will be ran using the promote/demote system.
Which means, lose and be eliminated, win and advance.

There'll be events supporting 4on4 duels, 2on2 and finally solo!

Both mappers work togheter on one piece, theme will be given.

The actual torunament will be held and sponsored by Mappersguild! Official world cup of mapping boards:
World Mapping Cup - Mappers Guild
We will supply all the info you need there within a short amount of time. You are free to apply here but
you must be aware of that the polls will be held at mappersguild and the whole developement of the cup, such as advancements.
PRIZE
The prize will be 2000 forum gold, (280 forum gold costs 5 dollars) for the 4on4 tournament. Divided in the team as you wish. 1000 Forum gold for the 2on2, and finally 1000 for the solo winner.
The forumgold can be used to purchase maps, signatures, avatars, distros and other usefull stuff which people offer for forumgold
National League
When the cup is drawing to an end, we will send out private messages to a mapper of each country which we think is suited to be the team captain of that country, which assigns another 3 members from the country they represent, finishing the cup of with a national division. If the captain we assign is not interested, we will message another person.
