Simple Q. to Mark/Tala~

The bad thing in Lunarforce is that High mages standing few sqms next to temple and when 8 lvl coming they throw one ue and kill him. It's hard to start playing on lunar so you can do something with it

I haven't seen anything near like that since the opening weekend of this server.
 
I think the majority of the players that is still playing is there for the hardcore-pvp, so I definetly hope you won't make skull system. : )
 
If you add skull system you will make the server even worse - Allow transfers from shadow to lunar and many teams will go there. Only brs and RPG players will stay on shadow and It will balance the amount of players on each server. Also there will be no noob chars on battles.

Just because someone is an RPG player doesn't mean he wont play here, I'm an RPG player myself and I'm playing on Lunarforce and I like it a lot more than shadowcores, Jeeze..
 
As Ardexius said, let players transfer from shadow to here for free, atleast the first month(with all restriction u mentioned). If they would play here they'd do it for free right now, so for sure they wont by payin'.
And left hardcore-pvp system.
Maybe would also be good to try out Experience from players, few days to see what happens (I'd say same rate as inferna/dolera 2006). Inferna/dolera back then has 800players online for that.

PS: to all peoples sayin with 200-300peoples this world wouldnt be so easy I'll tell you I started playin from scratch of this serv when it ACTUALLY had 200-300peoples and evryspawn were as free as now, bad it gone if u found someone at some hour of day u could just sneak him. It were just perfect as war's / market etc.
PS2: to the one sayin' the server it's perfect then I think you came here just to enjoy bein high-lvl in real tibia and try evrythin', don't take it as an offence, but peoples usually play hard-pvp to have war's. And im not talkin' 'bout sneaks.

I saw your topic right now, and its good idea... but the part of 10 frags to red skull and etc... I dont think is a good idea, but im with my mind open, I think you should make a poll, 2 polls actually, the first one to know what the players from Shadowscore AND Lunarforce think about the transfers, the second to know if these people would like to change the hardcore pvp to open pvp.

Ps. You must not have played very much when the server started. I was one of the first 5 people off rook. There was A LOT more temple camping, A LOT more spawns taken. If you knew anything you would know that in the first 5 days or so it was nearly impossible to do anything including complete quests. The 3rd day of the server there was 4 teams that wanted to complete poi. You know how many did complete it? Do you know why only 1 team completed it? Don't act like you know how this server is if you don't play it. Playing the first week doesn't count.

Pps. Idk how good you can read, but obviously its not to well. Mark is not going to "fix" Shadowcores at the expense of the players on Lunarforce.


Ppps. It's not ps1, or ps2. We're not talking about playstations here.

Not sure why everyone is complaining about a skull system. You can easily take that out.. What's really the difference in pvp and Hardcore pvp?
More people want to play Shadowcores because they can bot. No one really plays OTs just so they can play legitimate. Just sayin. Hardcore pvp makes it harder for people to bot on. Which is really the main reason why no one plays hardcore pvp.

Now im thinking... about the transfers, some itens shouldnt be allowed to come, rare itens... like demonwing axe and etc, bcuz the drop is more harder, right?

Tough, as I said, I meant war, not sneaks with friend. And a real war doesnt happen here from when skeon moved back to sc, and for 'scratch' I meant from 1-2 week after were started, that there were 200-300ppls on.

We haven't really made a decision yet, but due to the differences in rates we would prefer not allowing character transfers.

However, we have been thinking about:

  • Allowing character transfer from ShadowCores to LunarForce for perhaps 25 shop coins, with:
    * Only equipped items (NO)
    * 75% of bank balance (NO - loot x3 gives you much more opportunities to be reach reaaaally fast! It is unfair for current lunarforce players)
    * 75% of experience (Here it is hard to say what value would be considered as "balanced". Probably such value does not exist. There will always be extreme situations)
    * 33% of skill tries/mana spent (Hmmm.... Same as above)
  • Switching to Open-PVP with 10 kills for red skull and 20 kills for black skull (To be discussed)

We would appreciate if you could voice your opinions so that we can get an idea of what the current LunarForce players would like. We don't want to make changes that will increase the amount of players on LunarForce at the cost of disappointing the current players on LunarForce.

Overall I think that character transfer is a bad idea... We need to find a way to attract more players by attractive features not shuffles from one world to another. Every world should be unique with its own heroes not some transfered chars from nowhere.
Yes, I know that amount of players on Lunarforce is low (like really low ;) if we compare it to Shadowcors) but this is due to the fact that there were no protection for noobs since the beginning of the server. A lot of players resigned because they were killed/magebombed all day in a row at the beginning of the server. Now magebombers got bored and it is much better to play. But we need to find a solution how to prevent such situation in the future.

Server should remain pvp oriented for sure but some changes in this PvP system have to be made.

My proposals would be:

*PvP Enforced - exp from players is a must. It makes killing profitable and way more fun. Exp is gained from players that have atleast 70% of your overall exp (or more than you ofc). If player you have killed has level higher then you then exp is multiplied. Higher difference = more exp. It wouldn't make situation worse then it is now (in terms of random killing) due to the fact that by killing low levels you won't gain anything.

*Noob killer punishment - If you attack a player that have < 20% of your total exp (unless he attacked you first) it will affect all your eq drop (despite having blessings etc.) by some percent. You are brave noob killer? Say bye bye to your eq. You are tough enough? Then its fine :) It will save beginners from being constantly random pked. Also if you have killed more than 5 players with exp < 20% of your total exp you will gain 50% less exp from monsters(at that particular day). If more than 10 killed you will not gain any exp at all. Good for wars bad for noob killers.

*War system with prizes for the winners! (exp). Weekly war events (like the last man standing etc.). Maybe some automated pvp event system (not sure how hard is to create one).

I say NO to world transfers! Lets try to make Lunarforce better place by improving its features! Lets make it more pvp oriented!
World transfer if there is such high differences is a really bad idea. In general any world transfer ruins the game even if servers are similar. In my opinion it will make the situation even worse than its now.
I know there is not much players here but lets not loose them.

The "pvp-enforced system" is a good system... and like I usualy say, make a poll.
 
I follow the project twifysoft for years,
since the beginning server softcores, and what i noticed that all projects of any server takes to grow, however it is good, the player will only play him if a friend is going to the server, and these things take time to happen
I noticed that the project shadowcores, it took an average of 4-5 months until the number of players begin to grow. and I'm sure it will take a while to happen with lunarforce.

am i the only one thinking about names there will be double names unless u make doubles get a name change transfer is bad idea

yeah the duplicate accounts will be a big problem to shouldve made it were you can login to one ip like twifysoft.net for example and your char list comes up as for example

As it looks now, LunarForce has reached a point where the player amount isn't dropping anymore, it has been ranging from 50-120 players online for the last three weeks, if new players find their way to LunarForce it should start increasing.

The only problem with starting polls is that it won't just be the players of lunarforce voicing their opinions. I for one am 100% against transfers. Why should other ppl get to transfer chars here when I had to lvl here with lower xp rates, lower loot rates, lower ml rates?
