Retrocores serious privacy violation ! Watch out !

Whoever banned Tibicam is an abusive moderator in power - and most likely working together with Retrocores to hide evidence. He never shared any sensitive information, which was not already known here. He simply demanded the owner of Retrocores to share his company info here. Other people have already written out the alleged real life name of the owner of Retrocores. He even linked to a post where none other than Znote himself had the names in public. So why is he also not banished?

I am also going to report the owner of Retrocores to the authorities. You do not need a real name or company name to file a report, but it surely helps. Rest assured that justice will be served. Please note that it does not matter - according to Swedish law - if you use information or not, that can or is being captured. The fact that his software can/is capturing sensitive information without your knowledge or consent is a violation of data and privacy laws in Sweden, which can lead up to 6 years in prison if the case is to be considered severe.

Besides, using Allabolag.se which lists public information in Sweden (not a crime!) you can easily figure out who he is. Because Retrocores company would have to (by Swedish law) register that his company is selling computer game software - and is categorized as an IT/Data company. Assuming his company only have 0-4 employees this narrows it down to these 890 companies. By simply figuring out in which part of Sweden he resides, you can narrow it down to the dozens.

An abusive moderator on this forum can't and won't be able to stop a real life legal process, no matter how hard he tries to prevent it from happening. This is a huge breach of privacy and should not be considered as anything other than that. Also, if anyone of you ever purchased something from RetroCores or MasterCores, you can as a Swedish citizen demand them to give out the company name which received the payment. If the company doesn't comply with that, it is violating Swedish law.

Why is Swedish law relevant here?
Well, because the owner is of Core-Series, MasterCores and RetroCores is known to be Swedish.
His company is Swedish. And any and all Swedish users of his service is protected by the Swedish law as well.

Everyone needs to remember Otland is a free service. They can dictate how the rules are interpreted and decide when new ones need to be put in place at anytime. I would imagine the mods would handle any malicious action correctly as they did. Removing the content and paying attention to what is going on. They also have rules they have to follow to keep a legal site (without appropriate warnings and age restrictions).

I don't have a horse in this race but from what I see this is pretty much the same thing happening with sexual assault allegations in the US.
A lot of allegations with no evidence other than what a few people see as evidence.

"Marcus" included code that made his client suspicious and may-be illegal, or not, possibly. Otland clearly decided that given the circumstances the action they took was the best and it obviously is. Its a neutral approach. Remove all content having to do with it.

This issue can be handled outside of Otland if there even is an issue. I am sure Otland, if anything is proven, would be willing to have some type of information available about servers, games, and their owners that cannot be trusted.

Other than that bickering on a thread is not helpful to anything and no one needs to be right. Mods should close the thread at this point.

also, plenty of evidence that something is not right, the way he can go in to detail about botting cases is extremely uncomfortable. I called it before cleanera even started, i told my friends either his claims are false or the client is spyware. Probably the biggest issue is the lack of tos or whatever giving him the right to do it like the big game devs.

It's clear as day though that this is mostly fuelled by hate rather than evidence and i've not been around enough to know if the hate is justified.

This was the point of my post. It's all speculation other than there seems to be evidence of code existing in the client that can ss your desktop. For all we know its just designed to capture the screen then remove everything that is out of the game window before being sent.

There is clearly enough problem with it that his server was removed from Otland and that's fine. Sweden courts will determine if it shouldn't of been distributed I suppose.

Interestingly, his website (and I assume client as well) doesn't have any kind of ToS or Privacy Policy mentioning this.

So even if that is how he's collecting that information, he's still doing it illegally since his users are not informed about that data being collected.

dude in past they couldnt even admit that somebody cloned stuff or abused cash bug trying to keep it in secret even if somebody had cams xD

i remember one situation when ppl cloned stuff and marcus banned only two characters for this and best part was when he claimed that ALL DUPED GOLD was removed (like it would be even possible to track it xD)

these two characters were both my friend and he had too many gfbs stacked in one depot (~5 days runemaking on few character at once) no duping included

if somebody lying in even small things or do shady stuff like adding stuff to server to make people quit (mastercores - antica new mana potions update) yeah he literally knew that it will kill server but its better to re-launch it over and over instead of keeping alive server then how u can trust him with real case?

Guys dont listen to random ppl with no proofs, all I can say is the server is SAFE, all your PC info is SAFE and the game is the BEST RETRO server in the history of Tibia, even better than arcania or nebula back on 2005, I started playing OT'S in 2009+-,just play the OT and dont listen to these random malicious comments, you will have a great community in discord and ingame and everything is fine in this OT (cleanera) except for power abusers this is the best retro i ever played in my life since 2007 in OTS PLAYING era. been playing this retrocores since 2004 and i wasted a lot of real cash here, lot of euros, i would say more than 700€ spent here in retrocores since 2004, just play if u like pay if u dont like quit, simple, dont need to attack owner
