I guess you uses the newest tfs but its not compatible with this server files. You have to change files and remove some old spells functions in spells.xml och add the new ones becouse now those spells are lua.

I modified a lot of this data pack, deleted map parts down to 39.7 Mb and I'm now running it on a Raspberry Pi 2 (1 Gb RAM).
I know many people can't afford to run a global map because of the RAM demand, so, if you're interested, please help me test it... search for fardos in otservlist

I can't be certain but you must also change something to do with the expected packet size for the specific client version, I'm not quite sure if that's right or if that's all that has to be done to make the client version compatible, that may not even be the case. If you are compiling by windows you require the includes and libraries for Boost and Asio IIRC, possibly others. Check the github wiki for TFS specific compilation instructions for this specific version of TFS.
