100% CPU Usage..

Is there any reason why Tibia is using 100% of my CPU? Its a dual core amd processor, can handle alot more higher specification games, but seems to struggle with Tibia..
Any ideas anyone?

It's using 100% CPU because the game loop is rendering the sprites alot of times every second. Set the FPS limit at a lower value.

What should I set it to? What FPS does it need to run decent? Im getting like 130 on max.

I got fps to 30, and tibia don't take so much CPU, and all works fine :>

30 should be enough, and you shouldn't notice any difference with anything above 70.

Well, 90% of the Tibian players use bot, so if you want to play with high fps, just use a bot.

My FPS is around 50-70.. But when there is alot of fire fields or alot of people on my screen it getting pretty low, like down to 8-10.. If there is fire fields and alot of people, you can just imagine =P..

So I reset (Switching from Direct 9 to 5 and back again, then it goes up again) my FPS alot of times during a battle for example.

Anyone got the same problem?

The eye can not register more then 27 fps everything above is lag free.

I do however suggest you go for constant 30 fps.
