I am telling that he is a hypocrite. Check Chuunibyou demo koi ga Shitai characters, because they're FURTHER MORE childish than for example Luffy or Zoro, especially Rikka.

Have you actually watched the anime? Rikka obviously suffers from a psychological disorder that was caused by her father dieing when she was a kid.

The main character of One Piece is made out of rubber and is going to be the "King of the Pirates".

Which one sounds more childish to you?

One or two normal scenes in the whole anime which have 2 seasons (all the rest is fucking about foolishness) - totally not childish.

Silly characters does not mean childish. I'm sorry I upset you by comparing One Piece to Teletubbies.

By the way, a human could do all of the above things, and probably has done all the above things in real life, save for the last one I don't know many people with hair that long.

I literally said "Everyone has their preferences" and then stated my preferences. If that's annoying then maybe I missed the point of an Anime Talk thread.

Well I think people who think Dragon Ball Z is an anime are annoying, but you don't see me being a douche about it.

dragon ball z is not anime? well.. time to be annoying. I think it is Anime..
 
i literally have read every chapter of naruto, and still the ongoing bleach, i barely started one piece and it took me over 50 episodes to even remotely start enjoying it, i would have honestly skipped the beginning of one piece if it wasnt insisted upon me to watch it to know their back stories. I enjoy the show now but i think that's why people judge it so harshly, its beginning is BAD and the animation style they use does not compliment it either. but now that im abit further into it, i can see why people like it. Luffy is alot more likable further into the show and the fight scenes actually start becoming good.
 
Actually first episodes of one piece isn't that epic like the next ones ( by first I mean first 100~ ).

This may be what I experienced, but if I watch a few episodes of an anime and don't like it, I stop watching it.

I also tried watching one later episode where they were in some jungle fighting weird stuff but man it was... not very interesting.

I just heard the news that 'Steins;Gate' is getting a sequel (Steins;Gate Zero). I simply cannot express how hyped I am for that! :D

Also a second season of 'Noragami' was announced not long ago. And next week is the start of 'Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Seneki' and 'Fate/Stay night: Unlimited Blade Works' !!! :D

Me too!!!!! YEAH xD Some Anime FB page I follow posted it. But back then i didnt find any confirmation for those news on the internet so I wasnt even sure if they were right xD

I agree with the One Piece sentiment.. my friend said it was on his list of top 3.. and suggested I skip the first 100 episodes.. I'm on episode 63 and I'm starting enjoy it but the first 20-40 episodes were just pure rubbish.
 
this happened so far ago. but i remember watching one piece like ~8 years ago or something. I didn't even know these things were called animes. But first anime i enjoyed was Dragon Ball and from there on started getting into animes.
~7 years ago started watching one piece again. Since then i have been watching one episode per week.

BTW. Just finished Death Parade Season 1.
Quite awesome. I like the art and the way it grabbed me along with the story.
