backup an script in notepad

well, I use notepad for scripts like spells and those...

the problem is, that testing another script in an existing one, I saved and close notepad, so I lost last script,... is possible to backup and recover last script?

I always disable system restore so I could be wrong, but I think I thought it only created backups every 24 hours, after installing unsigned files, change registry ect. I'm not sure if you'll be able to recover it if the script is recent.

To use it: Control Panel -> Recovery (win 7)
