Windows Photoshop Layout Help

Hey,
I just need help on how to open a layout with photoshop?
I've never really understood so I've decided to look like a moron and ask here.

What file type is the layout you want to open ?

I dont know which one to open, thats the thing.
I tried opening the TPL file, but it said I had the incorrect photoshop version.
Does this mean I have to download all the photoshops just to open the template?

A layout is made from many images, those images can be found in folder layouts > YOURLAYOUT > images, and edit those images.

But you can also edit the entire template, thats what I need to know.
I already know you can edit images etc but with Modern AAC it doesnt have the button images etc.

Ahh, then I don't know cuz you are using Modern AAC, but I guess it has also XXX.css file and that file contains all color codes and others.
