Yes it's Attack Skill, it's always the same for all fist fighting, and no it's not target_range, CipSoft uses the same attack range for all monsters (4 sqms), it's defined by flag: "DistanceFighting".

If you're actually trying to run the server from these files, stop wasting your time. The gameserver binary is not real and a lot of important files that you would need are missing.

The NPC files are also highly modified:
$ diff -uZ real_npcs/ rxrob_npcs/ | wc -l
1182

As I said in the thread where rxrob was trying to sell the files, he doesn't have the real files, even if he believes he does.

Isnt it funny though that he, all this time, thought he was actaully sitting on the realdeal, and thought he would get payed bigtime?

Not if you were scammed and you didn't know, you shouldn't wish something like that to anybody.

You can't expect people to actually tell you how everything works, it's easy to get monsters stuff, so people asking for it ain't even trying to find it out by themselves.

Ah, that's true. Just wondering, did you make any progress regarding opening the .dat files? I've managed to decompile the binary files, but I actually don't have a clue on how to open the .dat files correctly.

A friend of mine is been able to get some german phrases, nothing fancy, and no code, most we get looks like: "Memory Management03030298Data Sectors866000ie99d8cj" a bunch of scrambled up text and numbers.

We´ll ask a more experienced person in the meanwhile.

Ah, nice. I've looked trough some of them using a normal text editor too, and some parts arent "encrypted" or what kind of sorcery that is in those files, hehe. Please let me know if you make any progress and I will do the same ^^

400 for server set up, might mean the files needed to run the game server.
200 for final files, files needed to get the complete server.

That's what I suppose.
