After the final exp tweak, can't remember it too well, but I think after 300 the exp was pretty fine. The rates between 1-299 were too fast imo. Could be lower, so people wouldnt have to go back to low spawns later on for addon items. If these spawns dont get outleveld too fast, they most likely collect everything there when leveling.

The exp certainly was fun. This server was and hopefully will be again, very satisfying. I just think the nice RPG-aspect that is clearly superb in ascalon, might feel even better when the exp is slightly lower

Maybe, maybe not. I don't remember how fast it was but I meant that it was fun to EXP, unlike other servers. You could be right though, i'ts been awhile.

It was definitely fun, but even just slightly lowering it could benefit the server a ton.
Just ask this bich boi @Malveko You can PG easy AF and get to the top tier crap relatively easy if you know how to play. Putting the server at a slower pace might encourage people to actually stay for longer periods of time.

Lowering the exp would be a good idea, imo.
You would just have to make sure there is enough content to keep players interested. Specifically after level 250-300.
Last era, I, personally noticed a large decline in content and motivation after reaching these levels.

this last era I was barely on and got to 290 np.. then it got boring. loool Basically out lvl gear. As for those stupid outfit bonuses.. scrap it. It's not the way you get the outfit or the buffs given but the way it is given to you that is the problem.

For me the best exp ratio was on the first version of Ascalon. Constant updates with friendly community were things that kept server alive. The thrilling feeling when we were making banshee quest/sand quest for the first time was really good.
