[7.4] Authentic Real Map - Extracted from TibiCAM files

Ive checked the map, where is the floor where you pick under plains of havoc temple? else it looks good a few misses here and there.
 
I have seen increased 7.4 servers and some use the map, glad to see! Bring back the good old days!

As well as the 7.4 website (custom-built website using real 7.4 website - although updated and a bit cleaner code), with house bidding system etc.

They're separate points:
1) There's a difference between stealing and borrowing (whether you put the thing back, whether you stop using it when you have an alternative, etc).
2) There's a difference between independent developers and multi-million-dollar companies (funding/resources and total revenues).
Both are errors made in the statement "We all steal from CIP yet nobody cares.".

For the most part we're not stealing from Cipsoft, it's more like borrowing, since 1) Cipsoft has never asked us to "give back" i.e. potential lost profits over the past 20 years, so clearly they don't care, and 2) Most people nowadays use Otclient because ever since ca 2013 we've actually had the option to use an open source client, before that there wasn't much of an option, so we borrowed the client until we managed to make our own, and Cipsoft has apparently never complained, they have the resources to complain if they want to, which is another difference between stealing from a large multi-million-dollar company and independent developers.

Cipsoft knows about us, it's much harder for a single developer to even notice that one of several hundred servers online have stolen their resources, making it much shittier behavior to steal from them.
It's also completely unnecessary. We had to borrow their client to have a client at all. You don't need anyone's sprites or anything else except for Cip's sprites to get your client working (not crashing).

Also, you can actually contact independent developers asking for their permission to reuse their resources and try to make a deal with them, while most if not all e-mails to Cipsoft asking to reuse their resources will simply be ignored probably because they just don't care as they probably can't make much enough money off us to be worth the hassle.

What engine is best to run 7.4 server? Is there any actual 7.4 engine that is stable enough or is OtHire 7.72 with 7.4 sprites the way to go?

You can run othire 7.72 with map 7.4 just need edit some lines on sources to allow othire to skip check the map version and items.otb also you can have dat and spr from 7.4 on 7.72 client very easy

why are the tiles deleted underneath poh? where you dig on the ground to get to the corpse.

This map is said to have been extracted from rec files, so if no cam showed certain place, it will be missing on the map. Plus it was edited and people in this thread already noted several inaccuracies.

If you meant that floor below pickhole in Knightmare Nights' base (the way to dreamers challange quest) the pickhole didn't exist back then. Although the floor below did exist in 7.4 already, same as the most of Pits of Inferno, and it could be partly visible, because server sends more floors to the client and rec files are basically saved packets.

same theres alot of errors in this map example most of the mountains, there are remainings of port hope lol... so yeah

The gas was one of the challenges.
