Book of Lies - Joshwa's cynical game.

@MysteriousDot: Those are the exact words from Syntax which could be found in deleted topic. Here is a screenshot of it:

Also I would like to publicly thanks @Mark for defending the truth.

D
Since OX server has chosen to drag OTLand into their mess, where they make false claims (which @Summ, who is a moderator here and part of their team, should know), they will no longer be allowed to advertise their server on OTLand either. I expect them to post a public apology in the same section on their forum if they want to advertise here again.

Better open shadowcores lol

Hahahahahahahahahaha. I guess the drama is over. Syntax chickened out. I'm really very open for confrontation but someone just doesn't want it. And I'm not the one "buying time" here. Why he doesn't want to put something on his word? I leave it to you.
He went to bed, just as he said, it was 7am and we have real jobs. Are you so blind to have read his previous post?

We're still waiting for your so-called proof.

My claims are real, and I've got my validation that you're supporting Xinn.

I'll opt out of advertising our server on your forum, I'll never apologize to you, lol. You mistake me for someone else.

if you werent so arrogant and full of yourself (including some other people of OX staff) you could've solved this problem easily with no problems at all, and had ur server both on here and on otservlist, but you seem to be more interested in talking shit about xinn/otland than promoting your server and making ot community better

So I can just hope you guys solve this case out in a proper way now, no one profits if this community goes shitbricks down because of all that drama the past years have brought.
Actually. Last time they closed their server down, right after that few new server owners contacted me and requested Lua scripts for their "global" server.
So I do profit from this. xD

Every single script I write to someone else can make it back to this community one day. I don't release scripts, but I always remind that I don't mind if they do.
Again in some way community can benefit.

How fucking delusional are you, guys? You admitted yourselves that your status protocol is busted and you report whatever data you happen to have in your database, instead of real, actual, number of connected players. What more "proof" do you need, when you have already made everything clear.

I'm delighted to see that no one is treated leniently, even people of "community fame", that you claim to be.

I'm sure things like this should be solved by private messages . It was Josh mistake to make it public and now you have to find a way out of it.

It's pretty cute you made a new account specifically to comment on those 2 topics

It's unfortunate for the players of your server how little you actually care about its success. You're acting in the interest of your ego instead of them right now. All you had to do from what I can tell was to fix your login server, which was reporting inaccurate data in the status protocol.

Is it so hard to keep a TCP socket alive between the login server and game server so that you can tell if the server is down? Why would you cache a number that is easily sent over that same socket? It's a O(1) call for the server, why does it have to be cached? Alternatively, your login server could just have acted as a reverse proxy for the gameservers status protocol. There are many ways to approach the problem, caching the number of players online on the login server is not acceptable for server lists that want to report accurate data.

It seems like your technical incompetence put you in this situation. I don't think I mistake you for someone else, you wrote the post with false claims, although your title reminds me of that other Xenobot admin who said that he was going to hack OTLand.

@sick7 Am I in the wrong in anything I say?

Do you also accuse me of having psychic powers? Because this account was registered before the whole otservlist vs ox drama has surfaced.

wut, I think I just lost all respect for OXTeam/XenoBot Team.

ok im user from xenboot and joshwa posted his pathethic thread there too

i must say im very dissapointed in what they have done with xenobot and i would not trust this staff at all.

around 1 year ago they made "Xenobot Binary"
they increased price of the bot (all this money went nowhere for the bot, all they worked on past year is this server)
in this update they removed every single script from their forum.
they released a new system that allowed users to download preconfigured scripts made by joshwa and syntax, but these scripts were horrible and still to this day they haven't updated any single script since the release of the update even though they said otherwise
we were promised more updates http://forums.xenobot.net/showthread.php?38571-XenoBot-Binary-Teaser
and now xenobot forum is super dead because of what they did to it while it used to be one of the biggest botting communities

they lied to their customers and i wouldn't trust them again.

this is just warning and i am very frustrated so i made this account just to warn ppl.

i have looked on discord and it's so sad they got so many blind followers

This post is directed specifically at @Joshwa534 , owner of https://forum.theoxserver.com/

I'm not going to tolerate the corruption and discrimination you feel that you can impose against some of us forum users. You have 24 hours to react to this thread and release the ban of yoyoa1 or I will begin my campaign against your site, your servers, your company and anyone supporting your actions. This post is live on https://otland.net/forums/ & https://forum.theoxserver.com/ & http://forums.xenobot.net/ & https://twitter.com/oxdevteam &https://www.facebook.com/theoxserver and after 24 hours, if you have not released the ban, I will publish this throughout every inch of the Tibian community.

My team's reputation alone should hold some validity against your claims of spoofed player counts. We are the administrators of http://xenobot.net/,http://tpforums.org/, and some are even moderators of https://otland.net/. Do you really think that you can attempt to shame us, call us liars about our player count and ban us without some sort of repercussion while holding absolutely zero proof? Do you honestly think people of our position would actually try to achieve any benefit on your list, whatsoever, by faking player counts?

We are not the only server you've done this to Xinn and we won't be the last. You can either work with us, or against us, and currently you're choosing to risk your reputation by targeting our server.

My team is willing to work with any, and even promote, Open Tibia server lists that are ethically and morally fair. Owners of http://otlist.net/ &https://www.*******.com/ or any other site can contact me directly for further information. We will give Xinn his 24 hours before proceeding.

Furthermore, we will not support https://otland.net/ or anyone else that is openly engaged with Xinn and his corruption until this is resolved. Mark can speak with us directly if he has any input about the situation, or his involvement with Xinn, however the dedicated forum space here on OTLand speaks volumes already. There have been more than enough claims on these forums about Xinn's corruption in the past and not a single flinch from Xinn or OTLand. OTLand's staff deletes threads, bans users and sweeps it under the rug.

Regards,
Angry ex-xenobot user

Why would we not. It's more efficient to pull from the online list table as it's stored as a memory table. The lookup is the same for the site and the status server. This avoids unnecessary polling or setting up a reverse tunnel. I don't see that as a particular bad setup. I know what I'm doing, I do it for a living. I'm not going over my point again, it's already in a wall of text.

And yeah DarkstaR may have said this awhile back, I don't remember the drama you two had, I'm sure he had his reasons, but like I said I don't know enough of the situation. You can cherry pick events though, sure.

You want to bring up past events? Sure, when you were running Shadowcores there were crashes you solved on your server, without pushing a commit to the public TFS. That's fine by itself, but then you delete the issues in the Github issue tracker that inform users of this crash. I know this because I reported it. After marking it under "Pending Investigation" (hah), you decided to silently delete it a month or so later. To refresh your memory this was the stackoverflow movement event. The script is provided in stock TFS and the stock engine allows it to happen. It can't be your technical incompetence as you solved it on your server, so it must be intentional, no?

That's another false claim from the OX team. Every bug fix to the engine that was applied to ShadowCores was also applied to TFS, and what has OX even contributed to the community? TFS 1.x exists because of ShadowCores. In fact, you can't even delete GitHub issues, so what's your response to that?
