Desktop crash?!?!

ok well my desktop has been crashed for like half a year. and its bugging the hell out of my. i have to use task manager for EVERYTHING!
so if its possible... how would i fix this?!?!
sorry im toatally retarded when it comes to widnows.

like my desktop is gone. all i see is a balck screen, and my explorer doesnt work the thing with the folders..

if it doesnt run on startup, put e shortcut to it in your autostart map or something
