Welcome to the official HPO discussion thread. Here I will be posting all of the latest updates and progress, as well as announcing all of the forthcoming features and updates

We welcome any ideas and suggestions to improve the server, including features or things you want removing.

The first thing to say is that the server is online for testing (and general gameplay). Please note that there may be small bugs in this testing stage, however, they should be ironed out in the next week or two.

LATEST UPDATES:
24/8/2011:
- Server back online
- AAC online
- Minor map updates with Diagon Alley depot
- Wand function update: use your wand and it will switch between attack elements (currently: ice, fire, energy. To be added: earth etc)
- Brooms (not flying yet) add speed properly
- PVP Arena script in production
- Custom PVP mode ready on next server reboot (!pvpmode in a pz to switch from pvp to non-pvp, must not have skull (soon no bounty either))

Updates scheduled for today:
-Map update (new areas added and updated)
-House Points system begins (deposit tokens in the great hall after this update... It should work...)
-House Points Checking System (look at your coloured tapestry (red = gryffindor, green slytherin, blue ravenclaw, yellow hufflepuff) to see how many points your house has collected so far)
-Auction House launched - when a CM is online you will be able to auction items through them if they have the auction house open. We will also auction rare artefacts from time to time.
-Brooms - you will be able to purchase a Cleansweep Seven from a broom shop in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade (not decided which yet) for a set price, or you can buy them from the Broom Shop owner (when the shop is sold).
-Temporary Item NPC - you will be able to sell most loots to an NPC very soon, which makes hunting have more purpose (forgot to add an NPC for it... whoopsie!)
-More small bug fixes and world updates.

added some screens, some are older than others, I'll take some more when I'm not busy updating maps and fixing small bugs

Today's update:
-Map fixes
-New skill!
-Skill levels for new skill (very soon!)

-Female outfit (hopefully) fixed (no more yeti-mode lol)
-Small bug fixes

New skill - Potion Brewing!
All you need is a Couldron, drag and drop certain monster drops onto the couldron and it'll make a type of potion.
Current potions:
Wolf's Paw + Carrion Worm Fang = 5 flasks of beer (small health pot)
Eye of Beholder + Green Dragon Leather = 10 flasks of lemonade (small mana pot)

More potions coming soon!
