Hello any one know how to change protocole from 8.42 to 8.5 ? only want to change protocole so i cna use 8.5

you need to compile your server

To change the protocol of the server you need to edit the source code of the server and recomplie. Unless you know C and how to edit/compile the source code your best bet would be to wait until whoever created your distro releases an updated protocol.

Go into resources.h and change all to 8.5 instead of 8.42. Rebuild all and u will be able to use 8.5 client!.
