I don't intend to be rude in any way here, but Xidaozu is taking a long time to update, so I thought I might make my own version of Evolutions based entirely off 0.7.8.
This is my distribution called Quantum-SQL
Note - Nearly the entire server was made by Xidaozu, so he deserves most of the credit, but I decided to make it 8.0 and add a lot of missing features that make this a lot better than most Evloutions 8.0 releases.
If you want to use an online account creator. I recommend the latest Version of Swelia.
Version updates
A lot of the features I add were codes that I got from other people, so many of these should not be credited to me. I do this because it is too hard for some people to do it themselves.
IMPORTANT - You do not need to use a new database for each update. I try to keep the database structure the same for each update, that way you only need to replace the data files, and you can keep all your existing accounts/players.
1.0:
- Updated to protocol 8.0
- Added all 8.0 monsters except arena and boss monsters
- Added 2 out of the 3 triangle of terror monsters
- Few source optimizations (Credits to Nate)
- 8.0 items.xml and items.otb
- Added all Ruthless Seven monsters
- Source edited for 8.0 ammo looktypes
- Added /makesay command
- Added gold nuggets as currency
- Added all 8.0 spells (Exori hur and exori con are bugged)
- Working hydra eggs, demonic fluid, blessed wooden stake, and obsidian knives
- /jail and /unjail commands
- Real Tibia addon NPC
- Soft boots recharger NPC
- Updated loot buying NPC
- Broadcaster NPC
1.1:
- Fully working orange trees
- Fully working banana and coconut palms
- Fixed Braindeath looktype
- Added optional moving spell replacements folder
- Added fully working light shovel
1.2:
- Elemental weapons
- Stun system
- Fully working helmet of the deep (Set the positions you use in data/talkactions/scripts/dive.lua)
- New looktype command (/newtype)
- Monsters drop addon items
- Footprints in snow
- Fixed amulet of loss
- Added magic increase to blue robe and mystic turban
- Added a few things to global.lua
- Gold coin, platinum coin, crystal coin, gold nugget tell value when examined.
- Blessing NPC added (Helen)
- Fixed crash when summoning broadcaster
Work in progress
- Finish adding missing 8.0 weapons
- Add boss/arena monsters
- Add pirate raid, orc raid, mino raid, and rat plague
- Norseman/Norse woman outfit
- Fixing exori hur and exori con
