Hi Otland community,

I've been testing a small visual feature on my server: when a monster dies, its corpse displays a shader effect for a few seconds. It doesn’t indicate loot or rarity — it's purely decorative, meant to add atmosphere.

The effect disappears automatically when the corpse is opened.

Here’s a short video so you can see it in action:

What do you think?
Is it visually appealing or too distracting?
Would you keep it, tweak it, or remove it?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

In my opinion, it's a bit too agressive, the pulsating effect is fast and too flashy. It resembles an emergency signal, with strong colors and rapid pulsation, which may create a discomforting feeling, even if subtle.
I would make it much more subtle: increase the gradient delay of the flash so it slowly goes from no effect to full effect, and make the full-effect color less opaque / more transparent. You want something that provides a clear visual cue but doesn't become aggressive or distracting to the eyes. I think it should be much smoother. Right now, it's too harsh.

This is Tibia. There is no need for such system in this game imo. Systems like that are breaking the rpg aspect. But its my personal opinion - I dont like even the loot messages in the center of screen.
