Just made a collection of all the ss's ive taken from ingame, I'd like to present the first quests thou a few updates to the sources disabled em /cry


Also looking for name suggestions.

The last pic looks too fancy. Use less different wall/roof types. Looks like a nice map, not like all mappers who placed a million details and said they used RAW for everything to sound pro.

raw is only for those who doesnt know how to map!:) Anyhow, I'm off to florida for a while.. so cya latzors

This sounds really interesting. I like that you use only the, what do you call it.. "new"? kind of quests, instead of both the chests you just right-click on and the missions. I'm also curious about how well the reward system for the quests will work. Good luck with it I hope that you will launch this server one day :) the mapping looks nice too btw
 
Back from florida thou I'll wait a week before I continue here. Let us unpack and get used to the boring-life(work/eat/sleep) routine again.. Oh and I better setup a google project or something cause I've got no logs of whats todo or done. X(

I'm dumping the quest-chests totally, as I find it way too randomized and non-related.. The mapping isn't that necessary to be cool/nice/etc... for now it's just need to fill the purpose of functionality, and that's why once every "script" get to work for each area, I'm finishing them up with putting some details around em.

Still active but it's going slow until the 15th as I'm only theorycrafting on this while im studying/working..
 
This is not to be rude, but doesnt this seem to be alot of ripped from WoW? Character explore gain exp = wow, "talk to my brother" thingy, also in wow, escort and max level, also in wow. Im not trying to disgrace your work, but I just get the real WoW feeling of it.. >_<

You do know there are 90% of the MMOs that have these things? Oh and I Rather compare my work to PT since i am stealing alot of ballista(navisco arena~) ideas

Well the update could be that the MAP i had is kind of broken (somewhere between the 8.54->8.6 corrupted dat file)... Oh so fun! Also there is a possibility I can't remember all the SOLUTIONS to all the functions I had in mind, but that doesn't mean im clueless, it may just not end up as it was meant to be in the first place.. : )
 
Ok I will update the main post aswell but these are the latest features!

¤ Gathering! May not been mentioned but you will be of course be able to gather materials from living/dead creatures around the world BUT the lore says some crystal fragments has been left around in the world and magicians managed to find a way to use 'em. Crystals gathered will be of different levels and used to craft power-ups, too boost your characters abilities or stats for a "short" period of time. Other areas of use might be researched, time will tell!

¤ Lore is something important! Will be written and introduced in some way during your first hours online! With this I've thought of a way to progress thru this.

¤ Quests! You are now deciding your own fate and future! The choices you are given in a quest will make an impact on your coming progress (Must find a way to not spam too many storage id's for these?)

¤ how much of the "plans" can you tell and how detailed should the descriptions be? Too much can discourage, too lil' won't make it interesting. Then again, this is nothin' to expect in a near future:)

¤ Recent events has made the travelling portals more restricted, to reach some places again you must've gained a certain amount of character points(WIP name) to proove you are worthy, but then again, anyone can explore anywhere!

¤ As mentioned, LORE is important.. and will be the number one thing to finish (pre-spawn version).

¤ And more, no. 1 post will be the complete update :3
 
This weekends update;
Ah damn, this is the second time i have a hdd failure (i had it coming for 6 months now yet i decided to continue with it), merely a setback!:) Will redo the lil' stuff I've already done before I take off to australia for a very long time:)

Edit; oh something i realized before during the 1-2 year break... the first version was based on TFS 0.4, 2nd one based on OTserv ... I will stick to OTServ as it seem to be more straight-forward without unnecessary code fragments..
