QUESTION TO THE COMPUTER NERDS

We say if a dude send a link and i open and it's speedshare.. If i open the site but don't download anything.. can i still be hacked or how?

If you download a file you can be hacked. Depends i think, some sites can have keyloggers etc working in the background (like ninjas)

IMO, you get 'hacked' when you open the program.

.. like on elfbot.com or that site.. one do send in a icon notepad and i download it and open it and load it on elfbot.. Can i be hacked or that way??
