if its true that is, u been w8ting since the first announcement haven't u? though i think this is more true than any of the others since everything is done, and only w8ting on parts that where ordered 18 days ago..
 
questions, does Deathzot 8.6 still have Sorc, Druid, Knight, Paladin? or are some missing and replaced?
Immortal is gone, hardcore is gone correct?
Bard is in the game right?
Legend is out of the game?
Revoc is out of the game?
 
Correct; the vocations in the game are Sorcerer, Druid, Knight, Ranger, Elementalist, Ninja, Barbarian, Guardian, and Bard. Promotion is now beneficial and harder to acquire as well.

If I missed anything please correct me.
 
ok. so paladin is out and merged into ranger, thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure since its been forever (making something for server advertisement since im bored)


Also, can anyone explain to me whats Fishing like in the server? as in whats there to it? i seen its lvl 300+ and costs huge money i think. ive seen many different styles of custom fishing on servers, but whats this 1?

really need to better understand this fishing system Dzot is using. is it just exp, or do creatures get summoned or bosses.
 
I don't think the fishing system will be done for the release because I haven't actually figured out what I want to do with it yet. Sure I can make it spawn monsters, and give you EXP/Gold etc. but I want to go more in depth and make a 'cooler' system.
 
hmm, i cant think really how to make it more in depth more than anything ive seen out there. Maybe Fishing level based boss spawns. and Fishing level based items looted? not any kinda depth unless you can add fishing level based quests with items that drop at certain levels for certain level quests.
1-20= low level creatures rare spawned
20-50, quest item rare. lvl 500 creature spawned.
50-70 quest item rare, rare chance for first level boss to spawn. like once in 5,000 casts (1 catch per 1.3 hour average). and rare chance to fish up junk that sells for ok price
70-80 quest item rare, better chance for first level boss to spawn, one in 3000 casts ( 1 catch per 52 minutes) rare chance for junk for sale.
80-90 quest item rare, Now have to use mechanical fishing rod. Fishes on lava, first level boss to spawn one in 1000 casts (1 catch per 17 minutes)
Rare chance to catch Ice golem level boss 1 in 5,000 casts. (1 catch per 1.3 hours) Requires Worms to fish this way, make Worms loot from nothing, buy for 1 cc per 10 worms or something.
90-100 Better chances of catching than 80-90
100+ chance to catch custom Fishing boss that drops T2 and custom item for this boss. bout 10000 casts (using worms 10000 would cost 10 million, and GP is suposed to be harder to get). power equal to God.

all based on using RL tibia fishing rates to keep it slower. Fishing cooldown of 1 cast per second.

idk... just a thought. random, not thought out to well, prolly flawed.

Suggestion, i seen this on a really crappy ot called Dungeon runner or something.. but the idea is solid. on certain items that drop rare, the Tutorial blue arrow appears and points down at the corpse of he creature that dropped said item. this would be pretty cool for TP items that drop off normal creatures to let you know (if ur blind) that there's something good in it. usable for all kinds of rare cool stuff.

Exp Scrolls - they stopped around 2 mil on original zot, but why not extend it into the 500 area. finding exp scrolls that give 5 mil, 10 mil. and 50 mil ( 50 mil at 500 i dont think is much at all compared to killing creatures) and have a level requirement on ones over 5 mil.

Exp Chests, use a style of chest that people will recognize as EXP chests, and then add them all around the map in hidden locations or as quest/tower rewards. good enough to grant some levels in the area there found in.

Amulets with duration. gives x Power for x time. (magic %, damage, attack speed, hp, or exp gained +25%)

Custom (new) level 400-1k zone that can only be gotten to through a TP quest in 1k+ area ( more less for alt characters to go to a place where they can level easier than the current normal area)

Boss Raids - for all bosses up to 5k. Random spots in the map ( for each respected area ) a Raid timer for certain bosses. Eg Ice Golem can spawn out on a mountain in frost giants. Raid timer set to 20% chance every 2 hours. with an announcement when he is activated to the server giving a little hint about it.
and having like 20 of these boss Raids active on server so every hour a boss is usually spawning somewhere NOT as a normal spawn every hour you can count on. this i think would be a REALLY cool feature to keep the people who aren't botting out there chasing down the raid spawned bosses. think of the fun having a little bit better boss raid spawn, and having 20 people RUSH to try and get it. then the pissed off war that may happen around the boss.. lawl
 
Question, castle wars (the event south of the DP) will it be in or out?

It's going to be automated.

Also, Synthetic wanted a new name for the frost dragon boss, so I said that Freezerburn was an acceptable name for an ICE boss.

He didn't agree with me. Thoughts?
 
how did that work anyways, was it Guilds that got the right to the boss rooms? or individuals?

I think I remember it being a house that somebody would get to own if they won the event, but you could invite your friends to the house.

Premium exp bonus. Change to first 30 min, not first 2 hours. first 30 min = 2x exp. recharge time, Logged out 10 minutes. ( good non botter player helper )

Loot Ring - increase loot chance (WORKS) ( can be changed into Amulet ) ( add a duration so it only lasts for 10 minutes or something ) (rare boss drop, or event item, maybe quest)

- Addon Tokens - Tokens that can be looted from every boss throughout the world. When you have 100, you can get a new outfit with the addons for that outfit!

- Rune Charges - Runes in this server have charges that can be bought. The max amount of charges is 2000.

I dont use scripts that are bugged/used on every server, and I'd rather delete DeathZot then add the zombie event to my server.

Can you add the auto loot? I know you said that you might implement it.


Also, I was thinking that since we don't need amulet of loss anymore, why not make amulets that can increase certain things about your character, such as:

+ 4% loot chance
+ 2% health
+ 2% mana
+ 1% max armor
+ 5% speed

Stuff like that would be cool and could make pvp more interesting.
