Ots discussion ( about rl maps or custom maps )

As the title says I want to start a ots discussion. What I mean with "Ots discussion" ? I want to ask the otland community and all tibia players why they are not anymore creating some custom fun ots.

Lets start with RL maps - How comes that so much peoples creating so stupid bullshit rl maps... its just boring as fuck and not even worth to play! if I want rl map then im gonna join tibia.com but not copied gay ots.

HiGH ExP OtS - How comes that noone wants to open anymore an highexp ot or evolution ot??!!! I remmember the old times back in 2010-2012 highexp ots and evolution ots was the most hyped ots...

Custom Projects Ots - Custom ots are cool too but most of them just need to long to get launched explain :Necronia... after 30000 years the ot is still not done -_-

Low exp rate servers - There was alot of fun low rates servers how comes that noone wants to open them?

Old clients / New clients. The most reason why tibia peoples are quiting is.. to much peoples just want to open a gaylord 10.++ ots they are boring just get it in ur head men!!! IM PRETTY SURE THERE ARE MORE 8.50/8.54/8.60 fans than these shit mount clients....

I know why people doesn't make custom maps anymore.. it's not the creators.. it's the players...
Those who put their soul into make a decent custom server will be heart breaked when they see they can't get players.

So.. What's the problem with players?
1: They have started to follow each other, rather than looking for a fun server themselves, they follow someone else, so they follow eachother in packs.
2: Modern players doesn't want to login to a server that has less than 100 players online, or a server that dropped 5 players the last days.. they're excuse -> "server is dead, wont play" (This applies even if you have 800 online, if you had 810 yesterday, they will say it's dead today)
3: These modern players are the reason why most OTs are rl maps and have donations, because there's rl maps to download and run and ready websites. much donations for no efforts..
4: These modern players are greedy for power, so they will donate if they have the ability, and that will feed these download&run servers and they'll keep growing.

If no players wanted to play rl maps, or donate to ots, believe me, they'd be no rl maps..


Example:
Few months ago, I launched CsTibia.com (again)..
But this time I had logs of all users and everything around it..
The first night.. 30+ players happier than ever to play, awesome game!!..
After the first night (yes, please logout to sleep).. came back day after.. 0 players online..
Nobody logged in day after.. litterally.. NOBODY..
And I had over 100 active people watching the webpage, and I had at least a good 20 people on OTLand that wanted to play, but.. they said.. "I'll login if more login.."
So.. probably at same time, there sat 50 people thinking/saying "I wont login because nobody is online".

You complain it takes a long time for custom OT to be developed.. however.. I think you need to rethink how much work and time goes into hosting a game server for people to play on..

Dont bash on projects because they take time to get things done???

I can name PLENTY of games where their development was excruciatingly long and sucked waiting for....

You discredit real maps.. however many Real maps I see come out nowadays provides new content and try to change their server based on the communities input..

Thorsan, my 8.0 server is a rl map.. but it's as far away from download&run it can be.
Worked on it for a good while, made everything from scratch, Engine, actions, movements, creatures... everything..

So yeah, there can be rl maps that has equally or even more work than custom servers

I don't think any developer will "just create ot". It requires some kind of knowledge and time to put it up and even more time maintain it.

For me personally its important to like the server I'm creating, getting lot of players or earning fast money is secondary priority. Hence the reason I'm not doing anything what has been done already.

If you want a specific server you think everyone would enjoy, sure I can create you one if you compensate the time I spend on it.

80% of all playing Rl Map Ots haven't experienced quests in rl tibia like Anni, DHQ, or Banshee Quest..
50% of all OT players doesn't even know how Banshee quest works..
and 30% of all OT players haven't seen inside of paradox tower
and 5% of OT player have never set foot in rl tibia.
And 95% of all OT players have never seen -2(after flame) in all tombs.
and 97% of all OT player's haven't seen the dragon tower in Draconia.
