Couple of Questions for monsters / npc

Hey all,

I am working with my friend on starting up an OT server for the Tibia client 9.6. We want our server to be a war server between 2 guilds, with each guild owning a city and having "raids" on each other's cities. By raiding the opposing guild's city, you can kill monsters and players for loot. The aim would be to slay the enemy ruler.

We have a few problems though.

The first and biggest problem we have is having our rulers and city guards as NPCs. Because they are NPCs, they can attack players, and we have configured them to be able to attack players in the opposite guild, but not players in their own guild. However, we know that NPCs aren't usually able to be attacked / killed (or even hit at all!). We have managed to configure our NPCs to have hp bars and are able to be attacked, but they cannot be hurt at all. If we could configure them to be injured and killed, that would be ideal. But, if we could have a monster configured to attack only certain members of guilds and not others, that would be fantastic as well.

Our next biggest issue is the need for players in each guild to be automatically promoted up ranks if they have achieved a set # of kills against enemy guild players. With the limited research and knowledge that we have, we haven't found anything like this yet. We want players to be able to automatically rank up from entry level guild positions to the vice-leader positions. In this way, we would obtain sufficient leadership over time to make sure all guild players' needs are met throughout each day and night.

So in conclusion,

1) Can anyone code / provide a script / find a way to have monsters attack only members of one guild and not another? Or, a way for NPCs to be hurt / killed?

2) Can anyone code / provide a file that allows guild members to automatically rank up their guild positions based on # of enemy players slain?
