try to make and autoborder that doesn't make things squary... or a mode of autborder that just print the borders, making easier build weird shapes and more rpgish

A "border only" mode is cool idea, I'll consider that.

How do you imagine a "non-squary" autoborder?

Some feature is that you can, unlike RME, paste borders to eachother easily.

Well no need to have it fully like a new option but just have it like you showed with points. And you have a border button like rme but u shape the border manually. So makes shaping much faster, maybe have it so u can click a border tile and reshape it like on paintshop with snap to gridlines etc.

Well, it currently works like this:
If you shift+drag (area build), you get those points, who are on the actual tile corners. If you drag a line with them, you get a line of borders. If you drag a bigger area with it, you get tiles, etc.
Without shift+drag you get it like it's in RME now.

Hey! you made the autoborder features also work on 2x2 areas, now that's impressive. That's one step above RME.
Maybe you also want to add randomization in the terrain, it can be quite important for viewing.

Also have you made the position offset also inserted inside the rendering code.
one item id can have the same spriteid and itemid, But the sprites can differ depending on thier positions.
basically just do something like itemid.Sprite.Spriteids[pos.x % itemid.Sprite.SpriteIds.Amount].

Ok good, seems nice :) im glad there are other editors being developed to. It makes you competitive and therefore produce better results. Just don't rush it. Id rather have a flawless version than a quick use release :)
 
if I am right, 90% of the mappers will still use RME since thats the 'ordinary' map editor, but OT your map editor are kinda kool

Dont be so sure. Simones was overtaken by rme. So could rme by this. Just has to offer the same plus more to do it.

I 100% support this, and also would love to see spawns manager, so you can change/set multiple creatures spawn interval, like CipSoft's.

That doesn't even happen in RME, but this will be made sure obviously.

Can you elaborate a bit? I don't really understand what your idea is =P.
 
It happened to me in RME while I was editing my kingsday thais ._.

Well, that was probably a situation where your walls were RAW-added so two horizontal walls are next to eachother (where RME obviously just attaches those tiles). If not, show a screenshot of the situation.

Something like change Dragons withing floors 7-8 and in range 100 sqm set their spawn interval to 300.
