I watch soccer all the time, I even played soccer for 12 years, the only team I can root for is team USA or Los Angeles Galaxy. And do to the fact that the european media is so bullshit, they can't allow anyone else in the world but in Europe to watch their soccer games.
And don't say American gay, we're probably the most athletic and sport motivated country in the world, we're known for "never give up" motto.
Also, soccer ISN'T the best sport in the world, it's the most popular, as in most people playing it. Just because it's popular, it doesn't mean its the best. The reason why it's popular is because is because it's basically the only sport in most countries and the only one that can be cheaply affordable. There is no perfectly heavily favored "best sport", it all depends on the playing style.

Just because I played soccer for 12 years doesn't mean I know everyone in Europe. I only know a few players; Ronaldinho, Messi, Ronaldo (the gay one), and D. Beckham, also a teeny bit about Rooney.

Also, just because I played it for 12 years, note the past tense in played. That obviously means I don't play anymore because it really does suck.

@Nemaneth, I agree about the obesity, but it's slowly being turned around. Wealthy people can easily afford any food at any time, going for the tasty crap food, and the poverty can't afford the real food, so they tend on chips. We may have the most fat people, but they are only like 10% of our population, if you're talking about fattest country in the world, then it's not USA, it's Samoa, they are about 70% obese. Debts? Are you serious? TONS of countries have bigger debts than USA, couple from Europe as well. Look at Greece, they are a fucking train wreck. It is a proof that if USA goes down economically, then the whole world goes down. Don't mess with any niggers here, a lot of the most famous athletes are black. Too many to count and name.
